Autumn is full of shapes, textures, patterns, and tiny details waiting to be noticed. In this workshop, we'll use natural materials like leaves, flowers, pinecones, bark, and seeds as creative prompts. We'll practice looking closely at their forms and textures, then translate what we notice into marks, patterns, colors, and imagery in our art journals.

You'll experiment with drawing, rubbing, stamping, layering, and other simple techniques to create a journal spread inspired by the changing of the season.

Tarot uses well-known symbols and archetypes that can serve as a rich creative reflection tool. In this workshop, you'll receive your own tarot deck and learn a simple process for pulling a card, exploring its imagery and symbolism, and using it as a starting point for writing and art making. We'll move from card to reflection to creation, creating a journal page inspired by what you notice.

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll transform discarded books into the foundation for a personal art journal. We’ll remove and alter pages, then experiment with painting, printmaking, collage, and layering to create backgrounds for your future journaling

No previous art or journaling experience is needed. Come ready to experiment, make a mess, and see where the pages take you. All materials are provided, but you’re also welcome to bring a book of your own.
